Glenn joined Priory Gate in 2007 as a Surveyor.

 

On leaving university, Glenn worked for several years as General Manager/Director of an engineering company in Zimbabwe. He had responsibility for financial control, procurement, marketing and labour control, including dispute resolution.

 

He then progressed his career acting as Procurement & Transport Manager with a construction company, which involved developing and implementing short and long term procurement strategies, negotiating sub-contracts and purchase orders and co-ordinating the sourcing and procurement of construction materials and motor vehicle spares.

 

On arrival in the UK in 2000, Glenn was initially recruited as a Materials Buyer by Claydon Associates, with responsibility for contracts up to £1.8m. He was subsequently promoted to Sub-Contract Buyer where he had responsibility for procuring a range of specialist sub-contract services from tender stage to post contract. A promotion to Senior Sub-Contract Buyer soon followed.

 

In 2004 Glenn completed a Diploma in Construction with The College of Estate Management. He was awarded the Diploma with Distinction and given the CIOB prize for most outstanding student.

 

He subsequently moved into a surveying role at Claydons with responsibility for sub-contract procurement, weekly and monthly valuations, re-measures of sub-contract work and weekly payments.

 

Since joining Priory Gate, Glenn has had responsibility for a £3m school café and extension project at Twyford CofE School in Acton.

 

He has strong communication, negotiation and people management skills and a proactive approach to problem solving. We are delighted to have his considerable experience to strengthen our surveying team.
